Managing Overlapping Texts

When two texts with or without leader are overlapping, you can choose to bring one to the front.


Before you begin: A symbol with two overlapping texts is placed in a diagram view.
  1. In the diagram view, select the two texts.

  2. From the Layout section of the action bar, click Arrange Stacked Symbols .

    Note: If you have click the command before selecting the texts, you can trap-select overlapping texts.

  3. In the Arrange Stack Symbols dialog box, select one of the following options:
    • Bring to front: Raise the selected text to the top.
    • Send to back: Lower the selected element to the bottom.
  4. Select the text on which the action defined in Step 3 is to be performed.

    Note: You can also select the symbol associated to the text.

    The selected element is framed by a rectangle.
  5. Click OK.

In this scenario, the Text 1 is raised to the top.
