Navigation Controls for the Controllers

When you start a VR session, the Navigation skillset is selected by default. Three navigation modes are available with this skillset: Fly, Teleport, and Walk.

Specific controls are available with the VR controllers.

Controls for Controller in the Non-Dominant Hand

Use the controller in the non-dominant hand to select a navigation mode.

Number Navigation Mode Action
Fly Press to fly over the scene.
Teleport Press to go from one place to another.
Walk Press to walk through the scene.

Controls for Controller in the Dominant Hand

After selecting a navigation mode, use the controller in the dominant hand to navigate through the environment. You can also switch to the Human Incarnation skillset.

Number Action
Press the menu to switch to the Human Incarnation skillset.
Use the trackpad to navigate.

You can define the dominant hand controller in Me > Preferences> All Preferences > 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Common > Immersive Virtuality.
