Configuring MEP Obsolete Request and New Request Type

This topic describes configuring MEP Obsolete Request and New Request Type.

Configuring MEP Obsolete Request

  • For the column Type of Part, check boxes EPN and Preliminary, Released EPN, Released MEP should not be selectable; where as MEP is MUST.
  • For the column Associated Part Count, check boxes None and Multiple should not be selectable; where as Single is MUST.

Configuring New Request Type

Create a New Request Type. See Creating New Request Type from HNP-User Guide for more Details.

  1. Once the New Request gets created, Administrator receives a Icon mail with the String Properties to be configured.
  2. Update the String Resource properties entries in the corresponding properties files mentioned in the Icon mail.
