Resizing the Network

You can resize the network using the Propagate Size command.

  1. From the Propagate Size panel, select the options of your choice:

    Selection Mode

    Manual Selection: you can select manually the components you want to resize.

    Piping Line: you can select the components belonging to a line ID.

    Note: The HVAC Line option is available only if you are in an RFLP session.

    Object Selection

    Component: modifies the equivalent diameter of the selected components only.

    Until Next Junction: modifies the equivalent diameter of the HVAC part until the next HVAC part with different equivalent diameter is found.

    All Network: modifies the equivalent diameter of all the HVAC components linked to the selected component until a different equivalent diameter is detected.

    According to the command you choose, the corresponding HVAC components are highlighted.
  2. Select any highlighted object in the work area to start the resize process.
    The Table Browser dialog box appears and lists the available values from the equivalent diameter table.
    Note: If all the selected parts are parametric parts, the Resize parametric HVAC network dialog box appears to let you define the Height, Width, Thickness, and Corner Radius attributes. All the parametric parts and duct geometry are resized according to these values.
  3. Select the equivalent diameter you want to apply to the route.
    The Propagate Size From x To y dialog box appears and lists the equivalent diameters.
  4. Click OK.
    The selected HVAC component is resized accordingly.
