Creating Split Curves

You can create a split curve on a set of surfaces. The splitable part of a surface is separated from its non-splitable part to identify the transition areas.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape containing a surface cluster.
  1. Select a surface and click Apply to display the split curve.
The draft direction is illustrated by a light source representing a vector. The default draft angle is 0°. In this case, the split curve is identical to the silhouette line of the selected surface in the direction of the light source.
  2. Modify the Direction and click Apply.
  3. Increase/decrease the Draft angle and click Apply.
