Analyzing Using Surface-Surface Intersection

You can calculate the intersection line of two sets of surface elements.

Before you begin: Open a 3D shape containing surfaces intersecting each other.
  1. Select two surfaces and click Apply.
    A 2D curve lying within the specified Tolerance or a polygon with an accuracy defined by the Tessellation option is created.

  2. Optional: Right-click the analysis curve to create a datum feature from the selected curve only or from all analysis curves.
  3. Click OK.
