Isophotes Mapping Analysis Parameters

This section explains the parameters in the Isophotes Mapping Analysis command dialog box.

  • Type Option area:
    • Mapping Modes:
      • Cylindric Mode: displays a cylindrical mapping analysis.
      • Spheric Mode: displays a spherical mapping analysis. This option is selected by default.
      • Multiband Mode: displays a multiband-mapping analysis.
    • Analysis mapping on part: lets you analyze the whole part. Unselect this option to conduct the analysis element by element.
    • Point of view:
      • Screen Definition: lets you use the screen definition to define the analysis point of view. Stripes recalculate each time you move the screen point of view. This option is selected by default.
      • User Eye: lets you use the User Eye handle location to define the analysis point of view. Stripes are recalculated each time you move the User Eye.
    • Mapping Direction:
      • Point mode: defines the mapping analysis directions from the current analysis point of view.
      • Plane mode: defines the mapping analysis directions are normal to the plane representing the point of view. This option is not available with the User Eye option.
    • Light effect: displays the light effect on selected elements. This option is not selected by default.
    • No Highlight Representations: disables the highlight on selected elements.
  • Zebra parameters area:
    • < > Number of stripes: Specifies the number of stripes.
    • < > Width of stripes: Specifies the width of stripes.
    • < > Color transition: Specifies the width of the color transition zone.
    • Robot 3D orientation: flips the Robot to the model and lets you move the Robot in the work area to define the orientation, and displays the 3D handle (cylinder or sphere) according to the selected mode. Note that Multiband Mode has no 3D handle.
    • Hide the 3D handle: hides the 3D handle (cylinder or sphere) displayed by the Robot option.
    • Radius: defines the cylinder or sphere radius, by default 1000mm.
