Defining Views

You can rapidly define a viewpoint, using the Robot on the geometry.

Before you begin: open an existing 3D shape.
  1. Drag the Robot onto a position in your shape that you want to see.
This also defines the viewing direction.

  2. From the View section of the action bar, click Interactive Viewpoint Definition .
The viewpoint changes. You now see the shape from above the Robot, at the point where you dropped the Robot.

  3. From the View section of the action bar, click Reverse Viewpoint .
The viewpoint changes. You now see the shape from under the Robot, at the point where you dropped the Robot.

Note: When changing viewpoints, you may wish to come back to a preceding viewpoint:
  • To move backward click Previous View .
  • To move forward click Next View .
