Performing a Gap Analysis

You can calculate a gap analysis.

Before you begin:
  • You must have access to the ICEM Shape Morphing app.
  • Open a 3D shape containing two surface clusters.

Gap Analysis Dialog Box
  1. From the Analysis section of the action bar, click Gap Analysis .
  2. Select surfaces as Source.


  3. Select surfaces as Target.


  4. Select edges of the source surface cluster as Guide.


  5. Specify Density, Scale, Points values, and the coordinate system Model.
  6. Click OK.
