About Furtive Display

In geometry commands, you can temporarily display controls on the feature and reference entities.

Conditions may break when editing a feature, for example OmniSurf or OmniFillet. With these options, you can control the compliance with the conditions.

You can display the following controls:

Select and clear the display of Furtive Display Modifiable and Furtive Display Reference options globally.
Select and clear the display of Control Points Modifiable and Control Points Reference.
Select and clear the display of Orders Modifiable and Orders Reference.
Select and clear the display of Continuities Modifiable and Continuities Reference.
Select and clear the display of Orders Modifiable and Orders Reference.
Notes:
  • The availability of the options varies depending on the used command and cases.
  • For features in edit mode (created or modified), the G0 condition is kept in Play mode independent from the control points display for the Soft Parametric modes Adapt, Rebuild, Reshape, and Auto Reshape.
  • The furtive display settings are stored in CATSettings. However, the settings are lost when using the Go back to selection option.
  • If the control point modification is restricted, the movement distance may be limited.
  • If the feature has no conditions, the furtive display is restricted on the created feature (modifiable).
