Display Modes Panel

The Display Modes panel in the provides commands for displaying geometry.

Geometry Display Section



Activate Wire
Activates wire display modes.


Wireframe
Displays all surface edges.


Isolines
Displays isoparametric curves on surfaces.
Important: To display iso curves, the Enable isoparametric generation option in the Miscellaneous section in Me > Preferences > Common Preferences 2D 3D Display > Performance must be selected.


Silhouettes
Displays additional edges defining the outline of the shape.


Triangles
Displays triangles of tesselated surfaces.


Activate Shade
Activates shaded display modes.


Shading
Displays surfaces with shading without material.


Shade Material
Displays shaded surfaces with the assigned material.


Material Glossy
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material Glossy.


Material Chroma
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material Chroma.


Material Satinated
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material Satinated.


Material Plaster
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material Plaster.


Material Default
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material.


Material Silver
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material silver.


Material Clay
Displays all shaded surfaces with the default material Clay.

Visibility Section



Point Visibility
Shows or hides all points.


Curve Visibility
Shows or hides all curves.


Surface Visibility
Shows or hides all surfaces.


Scan Visibility
Shows or hides all meshes.
