Using Flow Control on Flange Surfaces

If the flange surface is created from input curves projected onto a surface, you can extrapolate the edges of the created surface to the edges of the support surface.

Note: The created surface can only be extrapolated if the rails can reach the support surface edges.

Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a surface and a curve projected onto it.

  1. Create a flange surface from the curve projection.
    By default, the flange surface is created with the Extrapolation option Off.

  2. Select Both to extrapolate the flange surface to both ends of the support surface.
