Create an AutoReshape Element

The AutoReshape mode is an extension of the Reshape mode which additionally considers inner constraints.

When changing the second control point row in the input geometry, for example, the feature shape is directly recomputed.

Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a surface.

  1. Create a flange surface in AutoReshape mode and exit the OmniSurf command with OK.
  2. Modify the flange surface.
The RSHP label indicates that the feature is in AutoReshape mode.

  3. Modify the second control point row of the input surface.
The flange surface is directly recomputed.

  4. Clear Controls and double-click the flange surface.
