A Rebuild element is a feature with the same properties as an Adapt element.
When sculpting the input geometry, in addition to derived conditions also analyses and defined operation parameters are dynamically re-computed, that is in case of a flange in addition to the G0 continuity also continuity analysis and flange length and angle.
Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a surface.
Create a flange surface in Rebuild mode and exit the OmniSurf command with OK.
In the Sculpt panel, select Controls and Continuities.
Modify the control point row at the connecting edge of the input surface.
The flange is directly recomputed, G0 continuity is kept, length and angle remain unchanged.
Undo the last step.
Modify the second control point row of the input surface.
G0 continuity is kept, the angle is modified.
Clear Controls and double-click the flange surface to recompute the angle.
Modify the flange.
Clear Controls and double-click the flange surface.
The modification is undone and the OmniSurf panel opens.
