Create a Reshape Element

The Reshape mode is an extension of the Rebuild mode.

If the feature is modified, different to the Rebuild mode the modification is preserved in case of remodelling the input geometry without keeping the continuity.

Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a surface.

  1. Create a flange surface in Reshape mode and exit the OmniSurf command with OK.
  2. Modify the flange surface.


  3. Clear Controls and double-click the flange surface.
    The modification is preserved and the OmniSurf panel opens.

  4. Modify the second control point row of the input surface.
    The flange surface is not recomputed. The continuity is kept, but the angle is changed.

  5. Clear Controls and double-click the flange surface to recompute the angle.
