Creating Variants

You can save often used parameter settings in variants.

The variant options are available in the header and each section of the command panels.

Note: The number of variants is limited to 10.

  1. Click in the header of a command panel or a panel section to add a variant.
    Left of the icon, the icon and a window with a default variant name appear.
  2. Change parameters in the panel and click again .
    A second variant with the changed parameters and a second icon are added. The icon of the first variant changes to to indicate that this variant is not active.
  3. Move the pointer to the icon of the inactive variant.
    The icon changes to and the variant settings are temporarily activated. In the work area, a preview of the result is displayed.
  4. Click the name of the active variant.
    The name appears in a box where you can change it.
  5. Click to delete the active variant.
  6. Click in the header of a panel.
    In the action bar, a new section Variants is added with the so-called variant command. The tooltip indicates the original command and variant names.
  7. Click to delete the variant command of the active variant from the action bar.
    The variant is not deleted.
