Connecting a Product to a Bone

Product Connection lets you connect a product from external app to a bone. This creates a connection between the bone and the product. You can then define if the product drives the bone, if the bone drives the product, or if both the product and the bone follow each other's movements.

This functionality is helpful when you need to define how your human model fits in a specific context.

  1. In the 3D area or the tree, do the following:
    1. Select a product.
    2. Select a bone.
  2. In the Product Connection panel, choose a direction for the connection:

    Product to Bone When you change a posture or animate your human, the product follows the movement of the human.
    Bone to Product When you move the product, the bone follows the movement of the product.
    Both ways The product follows the movement of the human and vice versa.

    Important: For the Product to Bone and Both ways options, the functionality works only if you select an IK node (hands or feet).
