From the Tools section of the action bar, click Material Browser .

Right-click a material and select Apply.

In the work area, click the human to apply your material.
The human appearance changes.
Note:
You can reuse and apply a diffuse texture to a mesh. With the UV projection mode selected, the UV human mesh is used to properly display the customized texture over the mesh. You can add other customized UV textures to any additional channels supported by the material type.
