Privacy Management

Issue Intelligence benefits from the DSPassport / My Apps right to erasure. There is no personal data stored in PLM Analytics applications and therefore no need to remove PLMA-specific data or accounts.

For more information about Personal Data management, see the 3DS Knowledge base article - Personal Data management – how to comply with GDPR with 3DS solutions ?

This task shows you how to:

Clean Logs

Log files containing personal data are generated when using the Issue Intelligence application. You can clear the logs as follows.

  1. Go to the Exalead CloudView data folder: INSTALLDIR\datadir\run\.
  2. Delete the logs as required.

Clean Data Coming from External Sources

Issue Intelligence may display personal data coming from external sources. PLMA applications usually index data coming from an ENOVIA data source and as such, the Exalead CloudView index and Consolidation Server may contain personal information coming from ENOVIA.

  1. Anonymize personal data in the primary data source (for example, ENOVIA).
  2. Re-index source data with Exalead CloudView to propagate the modifications.

Warning: When historization is enabled on a PLMA application, the Exalead CloudView Consolidation Server will store data coming from the primary data source. Anonymizing or clearing personal data in the source will not update historized data in the Consolidation Server.

To make sure that no personal data is persisted, clear the Consolidation Server before reindexing cleared data sources.

All history that is not based on data source history (ENOVIA business objects history attribute) will be lost.

  3. Check that personal data no longer displays in the application.
