Defining the Working Area

You can define a working area on a curve to modify the selected part.


Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing a curve.
  1. From the Shape Sculpt section of the action bar, click Modification .
  2. Optional: Click the curve.
  3. From the Tools Palette, click Area Selection .
  4. Click the curve at the beginning of the targeted area.


  5. Move to reach the end of the area.
  6. Release the pointer.


    Important:
    • To clear the working area, press Ctrl and click the curve.
    • You can also define a working area by pressing Ctrl instead of clicking Area Selection . To do so, click the curve and then press Ctrl while holding and moving the left mouse button.
