Rotating a Curve

You can rotate a curve around one of the three axes of the handle.


Before you begin: Create a 3D shape containing a curve.
  1. From the Shape Sculpt section of the action bar, click Modification .
  2. Optional: Select the curve.
  3. From the Tools Palette, click Transformations and then click Rotation .
  4. Optional: Click the curve to position the handles depending on the pointer position.
  5. Optional: Move the pointer to highlight the desired rotation axis.
  6. Click and drag to rotate the curve.


  7. Release the pointer when you are satisfied with the new position of the curve.
    Tip: You can press Ctrl while in the command to rotate the curve in five degree increments.
