Searching for an Interference Simulation

This task shows how to search simulations and metrics. The process is the same for simulations as it is for any general searches. For more information about all the options regarding the search process, see the Product Finder user's guide.

This task shows you how to:

Perform a Predefined Search Using Keywords

You can search for interference simulations and interference metrics from the top bar using keywords.

  1. In the search box from the top bar, type keywords.

For simulations, type "simitf:", "sitf:" or "simuitf:". For interference metrics, type "itf" or "itfm".

  2. Type a search string.

You can add wildcard *, in front of the specified string, for the search results to include the search string as a part of the object name.

Note: Searches are made case sensitive.

  3. Press Enter
The search results appear in the Search Results Reader dialog box.

Perform an Advanced Search

You can search for interference simulations and interference metrics using Advanced Search from the top bar.

  1. From the list in the search box, select Advanced Search.
  2. In the SEARCH dialog box, select Interference Metric or Interference Simulation from the Object list.
  3. Select the Easy tab.
  4. Define the search criteria, as required.
  5. Click OK.

Alternatively, you can click Apply to begin the search and keep the Search Criteria dialog box open.

The search results appear in the Search Results Reader dialog box.
