Auto recognition of an INVENTOR Model file is done by stamping the TNRV of the Business Object on a special file property of the INVENTOR Model file. The same TNRV is sent for each INVENTOR Model on subsequent check in operations to allow X-CAD Design Management to recognize the object in ENOVIA database. This feature provides users the ability to recognize files using business object type, name, and revision even if the file is moved to another directory. Using this method, the files are recognized automatically, avoiding the explicit file recognition using recognize version functionality. This feature is available for users assigned with Integration User role. While saving designs to ENOVIA, the newly created business object details like Type, Name, and Revision are stored in the file as custom attributes in INVENTOR model. The file is saved in the local computer and save to the ENOVIA database in the same business object. This enables every saved INVENTOR model file to have the Type, Name, and Revision of the business object in which it is residing. Note:
Auto recognition feature is implemented by default and does not depend on any GCO attribute.
