Installing Connector for Inventor Client in Console Mode

This section shows you how to install Connector for Inventor Client in console mode.

Before you begin: Ensure that Integration Exchange Framework Client is installed. For details on installing Integration Exchange Framework Client, see X-CAD Design Management Administration Guide.
  1. Run the batch file StartTUI.exe file from the command line: 

    StartTUI.exe

    A Welcome dialog box appears

    Close all the running instances of Inventor before proceeding for successful installation.

  2. Press Enter.
    The legal process information is displayed
  3. Press Enter.

    The installer prompts you to select the product you want to install.

    Press enter to select the default one. The default value here is "IVC - Connector for Inventor Client".
  4. Press Enter.
    A summary of the parameters entered in steps 1 to 3 is displayed for review.
  5. Press Enter to start the installation.

    Connector for Inventor Client is installed at the same location as Integration Exchange Framework Client.

    On successful installation, the Setup Complete information is displayed.

  6. Press Enter. Connector for Inventor client installation is now complete.

    Connector for Inventor Client appears with Integration Exchange Framework Client under the name Dassault Systemes xCAD Connectors 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x in the Control Panel.

The installation log files are created at target path\InstallData\log\CODE\intel_a\ENOVIA_IVC.media-yy_mm_dd-hhmmss+0530 for 32 bit OS or target path\InstallData\log\CODE\win_b64\ ENOVIA_IVC.media-yy_mm_dd-hhmmss+0530 for 64 bit OS.
