Viewing Properties

You can view the properties of a design that exists in 3DEXPERIENCE that is active in Inventor.

Before you begin:

The design must be active in the Inventor session and exist in 3DEXPERIENCE.

  1. In the Inventor toolbar, select 3DEXPERIENCE > Properties.
    The 3DEXPERIENCE Properties dialog box appears.

    The following table lists the properties displayed for a design in the 3DEXPERIENCE Properties dialog box:

    PropertiesDescription
    TypeType of the design.
    NameName of the design
    RevisionRevision sequence of the design
    DescriptionDescription entered for the design when it was saved to 3DEXPERIENCE for the first time.
    StateMaturity state of the design in its lifecycle.
    OwnerName of the user who owns the design.
    PolicyPolicy that governs the design process.
    TitleThe title entered for the design.
    Locked ByUser name of the person who has locked the design.
    Save CommentComments entered when the design is saved to 3DEXPERIENCE.
    Renamed FromLast used name of the design if the design has been renamed from.
    Created OnDate and time the design was created.
    Last Modified DateDate and time of the last modification made on the design.

  2. Click OK to close the 3DEXPERIENCE Properties dialog box.
