About Reviewing Scenario Results

The View Result of Scenario dialog box includes three tabs:

Specifications tab Lists the probes and excitations included in the kinematics scenario, as well as the parameters for the engineering connections (except user-defined engineering connections) defined with but not used as excitations.
Plot tab Displays an X-Y plot view of the scenario results.
Table tab Lists the value of each probe, excitation and controlled constraint in the scenario at each time increment in the simulation.

  • Specifications: Lists the probes and excitations included in the kinematics scenario, as well as the parameters for the engineering connections (except user-defined engineering connections) defined with but not used as excitations.
    • All parameters appear in the table. You can control whether or not they appear in the Plot or Table tab by selecting or clearing the check boxes in the Show column.
Note: The values of the force/torque applied to a product during a dynamics scenario are displayed for law excitations, velocity law excitations, position motor excitations, and velocity motor excitations.
    • You can filter the list content by searching for and/or selecting a specific type of parameters.
    • You can select or deselect every parameter by clicking respectively Select All or Deselect All.
Note: By default, all parameters are selected.
    • You can also click New Curve to create customized curves by plotting one probe or an excitation value versus another. The standard two-dimensional graph plots the parameter values in Y-direction versus time in the X-direction.
    • Save allows you to create a Plot from the selected probes and excitations and to export the results in an Excel file. You can create as many Plots you want combining different probes and excitations. Plots are aggregated under the Result of scenario node in the tree.
Note: If you created a scenario with flexible objects, a length parameter specific to the branches appears in the list (Specifications and Table tabs).

To edit or update a Plot, double-click the Plot node in tree to open the View Results of scenario dialog box.

  • Plot: Displays an X-Y plot view of the scenario results.
  • Table: Lists the value of each probe, excitation and controlled constraint in the scenario at each time increment in the simulation.
