Animating a Simulation

Play Animation allows you to view an animation of a kinematics or dynamics simulation. It also highlights clashing parts in the mechanism or stops the animation when two parts clash.

Before you begin: Generate the scenario results of a kinematics simulation to have them appear under the Result node.
  1. To animate the mechanism, use the controls from theSimulation Player:
    1. In the list, select the factor by which to increase the speed of the animation.
    2. Click Play to start the animation.
    3. Use the arrows to step through the time increments of the simulation
    4. To stop the animation, click Pause or press Space.

  2. Check and analyze the list of interferences detected during the simulation.
If you selected Display interferences list option and clicked , an immersive analysis interference list that provides probe information—including names, detailed specifications, issue types, intersecting products, and clearances values—is automatically displayed. The immersive analysis interference list consists of a subset of the interference analysis commands available in Interference Management app.
