Inserting an Existing Rule and Check in a Rule Set

You can insert a rule set, an expert rule, and an expert check in a model.

This task shows you how to:

Insert an Existing Rule

You can insert an existing rule.

  1. From the Quality Rules Capture section, select Insert Existing Rule .
    The Object Selection dialog box opens.
  2. Type the name of the rule in the From Search tab, and click Search.
    The rules found are displayed in the list.
  3. Select the rule that you want to insert and click OK.
    The rule is inserted.

Insert an Existing Check

You can insert an existing check.

  1. From the Quality Rules Capture section, click Insert Existing Check .
    The Object Selection dialog box opens.
  2. Type the name of the check in the From Search tab and click Search.
    The checks found are displayed in the list.
  3. Select the check that you want to insert and click OK.
    The check is inserted.
