You can add justifications to failed objects. Doing so is a way to apply the same justification to all tuples. Justifications have an impact on the computation of the percentage of failed and succeeded objects as the objects they apply to are seen as "succeeded".
Notes:
- If you remove a justification from a check, and you added justifications to tuples, all justifications are removed.
- If you create a justification on a check, justifications previously added to types are overwritten by the new one.
- If the objects located under a check or a rule set are justified, the check and/or the rule set is justified.
- If you solve/save the rule base or the profile, justifications are kept/saved.
-
In the Reports dialog box, right-click a check that failed and select Create Justification.
-
In the Justification dialog box, enter your text and click OK.
Note:
To delete a justification, right-click the failed object and select Delete Justification. To edit a justification, right-click the failed object and select Add/Edit Justification.
