Inserting an Existing Filter

You can insert a filter in a Quality Rules Configuration rule set you want to export to a new database.

Note: The rule set you work with must be candidate for Quality Rules Configuration. To know more, see Creating a Rule Set Candidate for the Quality Rules Configuration App.

Before you begin: You must have created or loaded a rule set.
  1. From the Compass, click the 3D Modeling Apps quadrant, and select Quality Rules Capture.
  2. In the Quality Rules Capture section, click Insert Existing Filter .
    The Object Selection dialog box appears.
  3. In the From Search tab, enter the filter name and click Search.
    The filter appears in the dialog box.
  4. Select it and click OK.
    The filter is inserted in the rule set.

To open a filter saved in database, enter either of the following in the Search box:

  • filtercheck:name_of_the filter.
  • PLM Filtering: *Filter*
