Managing Catalogs of Component Families

You can automatically define or update a catalog based on all or parts of the family items.


Before you begin:
  • You must have created a catalog containing a chapter and saved it in database.
  • In this scenario, you must have created a filter.
  1. Click Manage Components Family Catalogs .

    The Catalog management tab opens.

  2. From the Items Selection section, select the Filter option and select your filter.
  3. In the Catalog options frame, click the folder.

    The Choose Catalog dialog box appears.

  4. Type the name of the catalog in the Search box and click Search.
  5. Select your catalog from the list and click OK.
  6. Select the chapter from the Chapter list.
  7. Click Fill chapter.
  8. Click Close.

Note: The Autocomplete the catalog information option verifies if the first item in the list is classified and then selects the first chapter found.
