Defining the Generic Model Components Behavior at Generation

You can select the generic model components that you do not want to duplicate at items generation. You can define if a generic model component is unchanged or duplicated during item resolution. This command proves useful in the context of assembly families where some components may be common to all items. In this case they are not to be duplicated.

  1. Click Define Components not to Duplicate .
  2. In the Choice of the components not to be Duplicated dialog box, select the components you want to duplicate and click Duplicate.
  3. Click OK when done.
