The catalog keywords reflect the family elements characteristics. You
can therefore choose the family table columns you want to export as catalog
chapter keywords.
Catalogs reference family items, and not family items resolved models. This means that a catalog cannot
reference old revisions of family elements, except if you create this catalog manually.
To do so, search the database for the old revisions of family elements.
This command fills in a catalog chapter with part or all the items of
the component family. The items that you insert into the chapter can be of
three types:
- Selected ones: Check
Selection in the
Items selection frame.
- Filtered ones: Check
Filter in the
Items selection frame.
- All the items of the family: Check
All in the
Items selection frame.

Lets you insert resolved models in the
chapter. When selected, a message is displayed indicating that:
- Only resolved items are inserted in the chapter.
- If the family evolves and new revisions of items models are
created, then the chapter does not reference those revisions until this command
is used again.
- The
Where classified command cannot find
this chapter.

Lets you empty the chapter before filling it
in.

| Empty chapter before execution
|
Lets you update already existing chapter
items if need be. Already existing chapter items that are not in the items to
be projected in the chapter are not impacted. Note that this option does not
delete keywords.

| Remove items from current family
only
|
Lets you remove items and resolved models related to the current family.
This option is selected by default and is disabled if
Empty chapter before execution is not
selected. When Fill chapter, Empty
chapter before execution, and Remove only
items from current family are selected, the items
stored in the chapter that belong to the current family are removed.
This includes family items and resolved models as well as resolved
models from previous versions. |
