Naming Component Family Definition Items (Custom Naming)

You can apply the custom naming to the component family.

Before you begin: You must have created a component family.

  1. Click Provide Naming Options .
    The Naming Options dialog box opens.
  2. In the Naming Options dialog box, select the Custom naming option and click Edit Rule.
  3. In the Custom Naming Editor, enter the rule body and click OK twice.
