Instantiating a KML Concept

The instantiation of a KML concept is slightly different from the one of a KML template: The instantiation of a KML template occurs in one shot, a KML concept does not.

Before you begin:
  • The DPX licence is required.
  • Make sure that the KML concept you want to publish has been declared as visible. For more information, see the Know-how Apps Logic User's Guide: Defining Concept Properties.
  1. Open your product.
  2. From the Tools section of the action bar, click KML Concept Instantiation .
A message appears asking you to query an object using the Search box.
  3. Enter the name of the Library and click Search .
  4. Double-click one of the components in the list.
The Concept to instantiate window opens.
Note: In the Concept to instantiate window, the libraries contained in the Know-how Apps component are listed in the Libraries list and the concepts are listed in the Concepts list.
  5. Select a concept and click OK.
The Instantiation of xxx window opens.
  6. Select the destination and click Next.
    The destination product is selected.
  7. Click Next to instantiate the KML concept.
