Inserting an Existing Object Parameter

You can search the database for an object parameter you previously created and link this parameter to a component.

Note: This command is available for RFL and DELMIA resources only.

Before you begin:
  • You must have created an object parameter.
  • You must have selected the appropriate preferences in Parameters and Relations in the Me > Preferences > 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Common Preferences > Display > 3D Shape Infrastructure .
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Insert Existing Object Parameter .
  2. Enter the parameter name in the search field and click Search .
  3. Select the parameter from the list and click .
    The object parameter is inserted.
