Creating a Parameter Pointing to an Object Parameter

You can create parameters pointing to object parameters.

Note: Both parameters must have the same type.

Before you begin:

  • Check the Display values box in the Me > Preferences > Common Preferences > Parameters, Measures, and Units > Preference Pages > Parameters & Relations > Parameters tree view section of the Preference Pages.
  • Check the Keep link with selected object box in the Me > Preferences > Common Preferences > Object Properties > 3D Shape > Infrastructure > 3D Shape Infrastructure > External References section of the Preference Pages.
