Creating a Set of Parameters

You can create sets of parameters under the Parameters node in the tree. Using this capability enables you to regroup parameters by categories.

Note: Parameters belonging to a parameter set can be reordered using Reorder from the context menu.

Before you begin:
  • Check at least Parameters & Relations in the Me > Preferences > 3DEXPERIENCE Platform > Common Preferences > Parameters Measures and Units > Parameters & Relations > Parameters tree view tab.
  • Create a representation containing at least one parameter (otherwise, the Parameters node is not displayed in the tree).
  1. Select the Parameters node in the tree and click Parameter Set from the context toolbar.
  2. Click the Parameters node and create a parameter using the context toolbar.
    In the tree, you can expand the feature which represents the parameter set. A parameter has been added under the parameter set.
