Creating a Resource Table

You can use a resource table to define resources that can be used in Knowledgeware expressions.

Before you begin: Your database must comprise at least one resource.

  2. Click Resource Table .
    Notes:
    • The resource table is a singleton and cannot be modified. It is always located in the Representation node.
    • The resource table is used in a power copy and not in a user feature.
  3. To add new items to the table, click Add a new resource item .
A row appears in the table.
  4. Define the content of your resource item:
    1. Assign a name to your resource in the Logical Name cell.
    2. Double-click the Resource Type box to select a resource type.
    3. Double-click the Unset Resource cell, enter a string in the Search box and click in the Search box.
    The resource is assigned.
    Notes:
    • You can display a preview of your resource by checking the Show resource preview box.
    • If you want to modify the content of your resource item, select a row and click Edit the selected resource item.
    • If you want to delete a row, select a row and click Remove the selected resource item .
    • If you want to import an ARM catalog, click Import an ARM Catalog and search for the catalog containing the data you want to import. You must have imported the ARM catalog using the regular FBDI for catalog before using this new command.
Important: The Resource Type scrolling list enables you to filter the content of the ARM table. It does not allow you to filter the catalog when importing an ARM catalog.
