Creating a Reaction: PLMTemplateInstantiation Event

You can create a reaction launched directly after the instantiation of an engineering template. This reaction launches a script designed to perform checks or updates for example. To do so, select Global event in the Source type list and PLMTemplateInstantiation in the Available events list.

Note: If you work with:
  • a product or a 3D representation, the reaction must be stored in a knowledge engineering specification located below the root product containing the template.
  • a 3D Shape or a drawing template, the reaction must be stored in a relation set.
Note: You may also create an action by clicking the relation specified in the tree and clicking Action .

Before you begin: You must have created an engineering template.
