Assigning a Comment to a Knowledge Feature

You can add comments to parameters and formulas using the URLs & Comment command as well as the Properties dialog box.

Note: You can edit the text that appears in the contextual bubbles when dragging your mouse over a relation or a parameter so that you can assign a text to a particular feature.

Use the Comment and URLs Command

You can add a comment to a feature using the URLs & Comment command.

  1. Select the feature to which you want to add a comment.
  2. From the Engineering Rules Capture section of the action bar, click URLs & Comment .
  3. Enter the text you want to display in the Comment box.
  4. Click OK when done.

Use the Properties Command

You can add comments to the parameter.

  1. Right-click the relation in the tree and select Properties.
  2. Enter the comment in the Comment box of the Properties dialog box.

Important:
  • If you want the value of the parameter/formula to be displayed, the "\V" combination must be used.
  • If no comment is added to the feature, the default name of the feature appears.
