Defining a Knowledge Report

Create the Knowledge Report

Firstly, create the report.

From the Compass, click the 3D Modeling Apps quadrant, and select Quality Rules Reuse.
Click Report Definition , click Save As and enter the name.

Optional: Click Load All types to load all NLS supported types.
The Select NLS types and Attributes option enables you to display NLS names of types and attributes when checked. When deactivated, internal names of types and attributes are shown and Load All Types is dimmed.
Select the type to which the report will apply from the Type list.
Select an attribute from the Attributes list, and click Add.
Repeat the above two steps as many times as required.

If no attribute is exposed for the value to be displayed, you can create an expression.

Click Create Expression and do the following:
1. In the Expressions dialog box, select an output attribute type from the drop-down list in the Literal box. Then, click Create/Edit expression.
2. Enter an expression in the Signature of the edited expression frame. Click OK when done and Close.
Click Save if you want to modify an existing report, Save As if you want to create a report, OK and Close.
