Creating a Check

You can create objects check and store them in database.

This task shows you how to:

Create a Check From the Add > Content Menu

You can create a check with quick access if you do not need to choose options in the Check creation dialog box.

  1. Select Add > Content > Know-how Check > Check.
  2. In the New Content dialog box, enter check and click Search.
  3. Double-click Check in the Know-how Rule section of the New Content dialog box.
    The check is created and the Check Editor opens.

Create a Check using Insert a New Check

You can create a check using the Insert New Check command. This creation mode lets you select the language you want to use and the execution mode (manual and with or without input).

  1. From the Quality Rules Capture section, select Insert New Check .
  2. Select Check in the New Content dialog box.
  3. In the Check dialog box, enter the name of the check, select the language you want to use from the Language list.
  4. Optional: To create a manual check, select Manual Check.
  5. Optional: To create a check without input, select Check without input.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Check Editor, edit the check and click OK.
  8. Select Share > Save > Save with Options to save the created check.
