Selecting Parameters for a Knowledge Report

You can select the parameters of the report.

Note that this selection is optional.

Before you begin: You must have created a report.
  1. Select one of the report parameters.
    • Load Representation in design mode enables you to load all the representations in Design mode thereby introspecting all features aggregated under representations. For example, if you want to generate a report on pad objects, the session you work in is in Visualization mode and this option is checked, the report generation command loads the representation in Design mode by selecting all pads located below the representation. To generate the report on product occurrences, uncheck this option.
    • Include column with Objectpath name lets you include the object path column in the generated report.
    • Occurrences of the objects lets you take objects occurrences into account when generating the report. This option can be used to compute exact number of occurrences of a given object. It does not apply to the root of the structure on which the report is based.
  2. In the Display Evaluation Error in Section, select either:
    • Pop-up to display the evaluation errors in an interactive Pop-up.
    • File to display the evaluation errors into a file located in the directory set in Preferences > Parameters and Measure > Report Generation > Output directory.
  3. Click Save if you want to modify an existing report, Save As if you want to create a report, OK and Close.
Note: You can choose to preview the report before saving it. To do so, click Report Preview. By doing so, you select all objects in session that match the type defined in the report template tab. You cannot save this report preview.
