Creating Rule Sets

You can add rule sets under rule bases to create a rule set hierarchy using the Expert Rule Set command. Rule sets can be defined and managed to logically structure the corporate knowledge base (for example, you can classify the rules and checks you created by process). A rule set is a feature that gathers rules and checks. There can be several rule sets in a rule base. The purpose of a rule set is to gather the relations which have something in common and to process the same kind of features that are meaningful only when used together. Rule sets are either automatically created upon the creation of rules and checks, or interactively created. Rule sets can be nested within a rule base.

Before you begin: Make sure Relations is selected (Me > Preferences > Infrastructure > 3D Shape Infrastructure > Display > Display In Tree).
