Creating an IP Publish Request

You can create an IP publish request for a classification.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Librarian

Before you begin: List the existing requests. See List of IP Publish Requests.
  1. Click Create New.
  2. Enter details about the request:

    Field NameDescription
    NameName of the request.
    TitleDescriptive title for the request.
    OriginatorName of the person who created the request.
    ApproverName of the person who needs to approve the request.
    Component HardnessUnknown, Hard, Soft, or Firm
    Qualification LevelUnspecified, Architectural Level Simulation, RTL Level Simulation, PLD Silicon Prototype, In Silicon Production Other, Gate Level Simulation, Unassigned.
    Spec. Document LocationThe path, ftp location, or URL (sync or http) of the specification file for the IP Block.

  3. Click Done.
