Changing Slab Thickness

In the tree, you can change the slab thickness for one or more stories simultaneously. Or, you can change the slab thickness for an elevator pit.

1. In the tree, double-click Building requiring a slab thickness change.
2. To change the slab thickness for one or more stories.
   1. Expand the story, Building, and Slabs nodes for each story requiring a slab thickness change.
   2. Click Primary Slab 1.

      To change the slab thickness for multiple stories, press Ctrl and click Primary Slab 1 for each story that a slab thickness change.

3. To change the slab thickness of an elevator pit, in the tree:
   1. Expand Shell and Core, Building, and Mass.
   2. Click Elevator Shaft.
4. From the context menu, click Slab Thickness .
5. From the 3D area, enter the new slab thickness in the value box.
6. From the Slab Thickness dialog box, click .

The primary slab thickness changes for all selected stories.

From the building, you can change the slab thickness of single story of an elevator pit.

1. To change the slab thickness for a story:
   1. Activate the story.
   2. In the 3D area, click the slab for the story.
2. To change the slab thickness for an elevator pit, in the 3D area, click the elevator.
3. From the context menu, click Slab Thickness .
4. From the 3D area, enter the new slab thickness in the value box.
5. From the Slab Thickness dialog box, click .

The slab thickness changes for the selected element.
