Changing Story Height

You can change the story height for any story in the building project.

This task shows you how to:

Change Story Height in the Tree

In the tree, you can change the story height for one or more stories simultaneously.

Context: When you change the story height for multiple stories simultaneously, you are assigning the new story height to each of the selected story slabs.

  1. In the tree, double-click Building where you want to change the story height.
  2. Expand the story, Building, and Slabs nodes for each story that requires a story height change.
  3. Click Primary Slab 1.

    To change the story height for multiple stories, press Ctrl and click Primary Slab 1 for each story that requires the story height change.

  4. From the context menu, click Story Height .
  5. From the 3D area, drag the height handle to the desired story height.

    Use the ruler to guide the adjustment. Alternatively, enter the new story height in the value box.

  6. From the Story Height dialog box, click .

The story height changes for all selected stories.

Change Story Height from the Building

You can change the story height of a single story from the building.

  1. Activate the story.
    1. From the Building section of the action bar, click Activate Story .
    2. From the building, click the story that requires the story height change.

    Alternatively, to activate a story from the tree, click the story, and from the context toolbar click Activate Component .

  2. From the active story in the building, click the slab.
  3. From the context menu, click Story Height .
  4. From the 3D area, drag the height handle to the desired story height.

    Use the ruler to guide the adjustment. Alternatively, enter the new story height in the value box.

  5. From the Story Height dialog box, click .

The story height for the selected story changes.
