Collaborative Lifecycle for
Dashboard provides commands to manage objects' lifecycle and collaboration (concurrent access to
objects).
Collaborative
Lifecycle provides the following key capabilities to manage the
lifecycle of objects from creation to deletion:
Creating revisions, branches, and duplicates of objects
Changing the maturity state of objects
Viewing and modifying object's attributes
Deleting objects
To collaborate with others, you can also:
Share objects with other people
Change the owner of an object, and move it to another colllaborative space or
organization
Lock and unlock objects
After performing lifecycle and collaboration-related commands, you can resume authoring or navigation activities by switching to the previous app or to another app using the Compass. For more information, see Switching Apps.
Important:
Your visibility on a structure varies depending on your credentials
(Access Role, Organization, and Collaborative Space). As the authoring commands rely on the
content you are able to see:
If you have visibility on the complete assembly, the authoring commands are performed
on the complete assembly.
If you have partial visibility on the assembly, the authoring commands are performed
partially on the assembly.
