Changing Maturity

You can define the maturity state of objects, as it evolves throughout its lifecycle.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: In Collaborative Lifecycle for Dashboard preferences, select credentials that match the collaborative space of the object you want to change the maturity of. Also make sure that your access role is appropriate for the maturity change you intend to make.

Change the Maturity of an Object When One Object Is Loaded

  1. Select an object.

    The current maturity state of the selected object is displayed on the maturity graph at the top of the widget.

  2. In the maturity graph, click the name of the transition, or the transition arrow ( or ) of your choice.

Change the Maturity of Objects When Several Objects Are Loaded

To select a new maturity state, do one of the following:

  1. From the list of maturity states, select the new maturity state of your choice.

    For each object, an icon indicates if the transition can be applied to the object:

    • Applicable Transition
    • Not Applicable Transition

  2. Optional: To exclude an object and not apply the maturity transition to it, double-click the corresponding Applicable Transition icon.

    The icon changes to (Not Applied Transition) and the object's maturity state is not modified when the transition is applied.

The maturity state of the objects is modified.
